WHO are choosing to study abroad in Middle Eastern countries?
American college students that are increasingly choosing to spend their traditional of junior year abroad in places like Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and the Untied Arab Emirates.

WHAT type of experience are they seeking?
The types of experience the sudents are seeking are that they want to learnaq different language and see how Middle Estern College are different then the U.S college.

WHERE have some of the students traveled?
Some of the Student have traveled to Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, Jordon, and the Untied Arab Emirates.

WHEN did the U.S. State Department start a language-learning initiative?
The U.S. State Department started the language-learning initiative in 2006.

WHY are students increasingly interested in the Middle East? WHY did some students decide to speak in “code” while in Palestinian territory?
Students are increasingly interested in the Middle East because its a better palce for American students to reallt immerse themselves in the language. Students decided to speak in "code" while being in Palestinian because they didn't want to

The students who were interviewed for the article felt good about their experience. some of the students, like Brian Reeves and Leigh Nusbaum, they hope that one day they will work on the peace settlement. It helps people decide their future.
