They used their body language to get men to like them and stay with them. When the men start to leave them, the women kill them or eat them. Stories like this influence girls to think that they can do it in real life. They can get any guy that they want and if they leave them, they could kill them or something like that. It also influences girls to think that they can keep them forver with their charms and looks.

"Legal Alien/Extranjera Legal" Before You Read

I feel trapped and stuck between two worlds. Those two worlds are reality and fantasy. I'm always thinking about how my life could of been in my fantasy world. When I come back to reality, it's completely different. I try everything I can to make my life better and how I want it to be like in my fantasy world. But I know that some fantasy things can't really happen. I would rather live in my fantasy world then in reality sometimes. Until this day, I'm still to face reality. Someone once told me "Open your eyes to reality and stop living in your fantasy world. Because someday you'll have to face them in the future. So open now then later, or you're going to regret it." After I was told that, I went in thinking mode. I thought about trying to open my eyes to reality. It was hard at first but little by little reality is getting harder and making me a better person today.

“Tiburon” Before You Read

The manmade object is an blow dryer and the natural object is summer heat. Both the objects are similar because when summer comes all that everybody can feel is the heat blowing, no cool breeze, and when you use a blow dryer you feel the same thing. Another way is that you can sometimes hear the wind with heat just coming your way as when you use the blow dyer you feel both the sound and the heat. When I see the manmadde object I feel super hot. There are times when I wish there wasn't this kind of weather.

"Ballad of Birmingham" Before You Read

I was in my house, girls 103, in my room when I got a phone call from one of my friends. She told me that one of our friends hanged himself. At first I didn't believe it, so I hanged up. I got a phone call from the mother and she told me the same thing. At that moment My body dropped to the floor and I was crying. He was one of my closest friends. One of my last closest friends. I was walking outside trying to calm down but I couldn't. When they did an open casket, I went. The parents wanted me to say a speech, so I did. The following day all of his close friends and family went to bury him. It was one of my worst yet horrifying day of my life.

When I look into the orange groves, I see a long road to nowhere. I see tree's filled with oranges. I see the oranges as my feelings, holding on to them until they fall off. I hear nothing but the wind blowing and the leaves making the sound of the ocean. I feel at peace when I'm in the orange groves. It makes me feel it just me and nature talking. I wish I could just go there and just think or let some feelings out without having staff saying " Kelsey AWOL." Getting to live among these trees makes me feel at home and also at peace.

When I was a little girl I was afriad of the monsters that lived in my closet and underneath my bed. I basically slept with my lights on. Ithought that the monsters were going to get eat me or get me. The dults around me always told me that there is no such things as monsters.Growing up I realized that there's no such thing as monsters or anything else that I believed in.

When I was a little girl, we never had any of this new technology we have today. I remember everything like, cars, computers and other devises were getting upgraded. Years after that I started High school. It was one of my dreams when I was a little girl, to go and experience it. I struggled through high school but finished and graduated. I enrolled into College and study in Astrology and getting my degree in teaching. I got married to your grandfather and had two kids. My kids grew up, went to school just like me, studied what they wanted to study, married and had children of their own.

“A Blessing” Break into Blossom Paragraph

I was in p.e on the rocky yet steep mountains of Escondido. While walking up the mountain I noticed how nothing was around but mother nature. I saw bushes filled with beautiful flowers, the dirt road with rocks coming out of the ground and little pebbles while people were walking enjoying the hike. I would hear bee's buzzing around to get honey or just buzzing around to find honey. I didn't touch anything because I was afraid to get poison ivy or if I had a allergic reaction to something, which I'm sure I'm not. I felt happiness all around me and appreciated of how I can enjoy nature without having buildings all around, or people arguing while I'm trying to enjoy mother nature. I wouldn't mind doing hikes or anything that has to do with mother nature itself.

Summer School Plan

In summer school I plan to team up with Yaya and John to help me be on track of my school work and homework. I will also do my best to do it back to her and try to do it without anyone telling me so. I will make sure that if I miss a day of school, it will be my responsibility to make sure that my assignments are turned in on time. I will be tempting to talk and go off topic. Also, I will fall asleep but I will do my best to not do those things that distract me.
